This ideal location as a gateway to the Delaware Valley allows for quick and easy access to almost any location within Philadelphia or the near suburbs. Center City Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Plymouth Meeting, Narberth, and Ardmore are all relatively short rides away.

For those who utilize public transportation, the location of River Park House provides many convenient options.

• SEPTA Route 38 stops in front of our building. The eastern terminus is the Bourse Building at 5th and Market Streets. Passengers wishing to reach 30th Street Station, Suburban Station, the Reading Terminal, and the Philadelphia International Airport will have easy access to their destinations via this route. The western terminus is the Wissahickon Transfer Station. This terminus is a relatively short walk from Manayunk, Wissahickon Creek, and East Falls. The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Franklin Institute, Academy of Natural Sciences, Please Touch Museum, and Parkway Central Library are all designated stops in both directions of SEPTA Route 38. And via this route’s connections, shopping at the malls in King of Prussia (Routes 124 and 125) and Plymouth Meeting (Route 27) is easily accessible.

• SEPTA Route 44 operates approximately one mile from River Park House along City Avenue. The eastern terminus is the Bourse Building at 5th and Market Streets. The western terminus is Suburban Square in Ardmore. Saint Joseph’s University is a designated stop in both directions. The SEPTA Paoli-Thorndale train line is accessible along this route.

• SEPTA Route 40 operates approximately ½ mile from River Park House. The western terminus is the Pathmark Shopping Center on Conshohocken Avenue. This route goes through University City, the University of Pennsylvania, 30th Street Station, and South Street. The eastern terminus is 4th and Lombard Streets.

Commuters wishing to reach 30th Street Station, the Reading Terminal, and Philadelphia International Airport will find easy access to their destinations. Sports fans will love how quickly they can reach Citizens Bank Ball Park, Lincoln Financial Field, the Wells-Fargo Center, Franklin Field, and the Palestra. Exercise enthusiasts will enjoy living at the edge of Fairmount Park, Kelly Drive, and Martin Luther King Drive. Culture seekers will be only minutes away from the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
